Preparing for your bodywork session.

Clear your schedule. Ideally, you would take the whole day off and the next if possible - at least the rest of the day after your session.
Hydrate well. Drink at least 1/2 gallon of water with lemon, salt, and a little honey on the day before and of your session.
Eat on the liter side. Soups and soft-cooked fruits and veggies or soups should be taken on the day of your session and ideally the day before and after.

Even if you do not receive Abhyanga (full body oil massage) your session still may include lots of oil. Wear clothes that you do not mind getting oily. Bring a head covering and or towel for your ride home. Bundle up to stay warm - especially if it’s during the cooler season.
– It is recommended to
leave the oils on your body for at least a few hours after your session and in your hair overnight.
Ensure you are pooping, if not, ask your practitioner for some dietary recommendations to get things going.
